Plant identification of more than 1,000 species on a single page

Using only the following four criteria

 - colour of flower
 - form of flower
 - positioning of leaves
 - type of leaf margin

a simple table permits access to 256 different groups of plants. They separate the species in a way that allows plant identification directly or with only a few subsequent steps on the page number shown in the table.
